At London Phoenix Performance, we are proud to offer dedicated Strength and Conditioning (S&C) sessions every Saturday, led by our fully qualified coach, Sam. These sessions are designed to complement our swim training programme by focusing on key physical attributes essential for competitive swimming—mobility, flexibility, core stability, and functional strength. Held immediately after the swim drop-ins, this extended training opportunity allows swimmers to build power, improve range of motion, and reduce the risk of injury through targeted exercises tailored specifically to the needs of young performance athletes.
Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in athlete development and is committed to helping our swimmers reach their full potential both in and out of the pool. These sessions go beyond traditional dryland workouts—each is structured to support stroke efficiency, streamline position, and explosive starts and turns.
